Fans of Only Murders in the Building can now achieve Mabel Mora’s warm glow thanks to Rare Beauty and Hulu. The beauty brand, founded by Selena Gomez–who portrays Mabel in the series—joined forces with the streaming platform on a makeup kit inspired by her character.
Called Mabel Mora’s Go-To Duo, the kit includes Rare’s popular Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in the new exclusive shade, Resilience, as well as the fan-favorite Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil in Delight. If you haven’t tried Rare’s blush, you’re in for a treat. The formula is long lasting and highly pigmented—which is great for melanated skin and deeper tones. The lip oil is also a must-have due to the tint and hydrating feel it leaves on the pout. In addition to Mabel’s Duo, shoppers can receive an adorable merlot keychain tote with a $50 purchase from August 26 to August 31.
This isn’t the first time Gomez’s worlds collided. She regularly uses Rare Beauty on set (obviously) and her costars do too. In a December 2023 interview with Vogue, Gomez shared, “I put Rare on the guys all the time, Steve [Martin] and Marty [Short]. I make them do it.”
Rare’s latest launch coincides with the season 4 premiere. Gomez announced the series’ return via Instagram on Tuesday, August 27, sharing a photo of herself, Martin and Short wearing coordinated dark outfits. Season 4 will follow Gomez’s Mabel, Martin’s Charles, and Short’s Oliver as they look into the death of Sazz—Charles’ longtime stunt double (played by Jane Lynch) who was through the window of Charles’ apartment.
In addition to Gomez, Martin, and Short, season 4 stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Molly Shannon, Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy, and Meryl Streep.
